Oak Hill Festival of Flags held Memorial Day Weekend (Friday to Monday)
Parade
2:30 PM.......... Parade Line-Up Begins (old Oak Hill High School lot. intersection of W. Main and Western Ave)
4 PM............... Grand Parade, led by Grand Marshals Cedar Heights Clay Company, saluting 100 years in business in Oak Hill
Parade Route and Info
The parade will begin at 4 p.m. Sunday, May 26 and be routed from the site of the old Oak Hill High School at West Cross Street and Western Avenue; and will travel along West and East Main Street to Fourth Street to Washington Street to State Route 93/Front Street and end at the intersection of Cross Street and to State Route 93/Front Street.
The parade line will have an announcer's stand at the intersection of Madison St/Route 279 and Front St./Route 93. Forms will be available at parade line up.
Any one can participate in the parade.
Line up begins at 2:30 p.m. at the old Oak Hill High School at the intersection of Western Avenue and West Main Street. You must be in line by 3:45 p.m.
If you have children riding in the parade, please remind them to not throw candy aggressively towards parade watchers.
There is no registration nor cost to participate in the parade.
